About the person
Esmat Farzad is a social and cultural activist. He has studied Journalism and mass communications at Herat University in Afghanistan. He has worked with a local radio station and a weekly publication in Herat before moving into education section, teaching at schools for about four years. In 2020, he founded his own private school in Kabul, which he managed it until mid-2022. Alongside his career, he has been active in social and cultural initiatives, including founding the Yaran-e-Yar Cultural Collective in Herat. Since September 2022, he has been living in Germany, doing right now a Weiterbildung in section Integrationscoach und Integrationsmanagement.
